Course Reviews

Woodbridge is back!! I have been playing this course since the early 90's and it is in the best shape in years. The greens are great, the fairways are great. I paid $25 for 18 holes on Friday which is an incredible deal. If you haven't played Woodbridge lately you owe it to yourself to play this course.

Woodbridge Golf Course has really come a long way in getting back to being a good quality course. It like most of the courses in the area that have Bent Grass greens had a hard summer. I will have to say the staff there has worked hard to bring things back up to par. The course is looking better than it has looked in a long time. I played there this past week and all but 1 or 2 greens ( still minor problems ) have been totally recovered and are playing and looking very good. I would recommend this course to anyone that likes a challenging layout at a very reasonable price.

I played this course today. It was in the low 70's and sunny....and a perfect day for golf. The course was not crowded and when I did come up on a group...they let me play through. THe course appears to be two different nines pieced together to make 18 holes. The first nine was pretty wide open and not particularly long. Typical old style 9 hole course. Lots of houses on the course. The back nine was much better...lengthier...very few houses....and the holes were certainly more challenging. THe crews could have dne a better job of cleaning the leaves off the fairways. There were a couple of times I really had to search for my ball....and I found it under some leaves. THe back nine also had some covered bridges on the cart path...a very nice touch! I loved the long Par 5 on the back. Heck...I actually enjoyed the entire course...and since it was Monday...it was senior citizen day...and I played the course for $19 w/cart....a "smoking" deal. Its a definite play again!!

I CAN TELL RIGHT AWAY THAT YOU OWN BRIARCREEK AND GREENMEADOWS BECAUSE THIS COURSE IS AS BAD OR WORSE.YOURE WEBSITE NEEDS UPDATED IT READS 25.00 THRU THE WEEK I PAID FOR 2 PEOPLE TODAY AND WAS CHARGED 56.00 TAKE THE EXTRA MONEY YOU MADE OFF OF ME AND OTHERS AND INVEST IN SOME GRASS FOR YOURE FAIRWAYS.VERY DISAPOINTED.IF I EVER DECIDE TO COME BACK I WILL DOUBLE CHECK MY BILL AND ALSO CHECK FOR GRASS.

I just played at Woodbridge it was much better than kings mountain country club. I play 2 to 3 rounds per week at different courses in this area. Its not as bad as some of the reviews I have read.

Goat Track

This Course is very run down,(may 2007)This course has a easy layout but with the lack of care to it make it a very long day and you would want to give up golf. I have played some bad courses before dont get me wrong, but this is the worst i have ever seen. Save your money and go to hooters or sit at home and watch TV.. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY ON THIS DUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Example of letting a great place go downhill

Woodbridge needs to take lessons on how to run a golf course, go up the road to Riverbend and see how it is done. This course has a great repuation but the present owners do not want to spend the money to make it what it used to be. You have to decide where you want to be at in price and value. If you want a course that is a value (cow pasture) then charge less and let volume of play make you money, or you can get off the hip and keep the place up and compete with Riverbend. You can't charge steak prices for Big Mac's.
