Well...I can say the price was right!! I arrived and pulled up to this old barn which had several holes in it..and I find out that its the actual clubhouse!! I did go in..I did pay my $$$ and out I went! I have to say the course was a challenge. THere were almost no yardage markers,..and the hazards were well hidden...partly because of the poor upkeep! THe course was as I expected....pretty straightforward with no surprises with the exception of the obscure hazards. I don't remember any sand on the course. The bunkers appear to have all been allowed to grow up with weeds..making any bunker shots a true challenge. It wasn't crowded on a Friday afternoon..nor would I expect it to be. It was golf...but not much else!

This is the first full 18 holes of golf that I have played since high school in '97, but if there was one place for to come and try to get that long forgotten swing back, this was it! First overall impression was pretty bad, the sign greeting you at the front drive was actually falling apart, the clubhouse (as mentioned) is an old barn, and is pretty much falling apart as well (although it appears they are getting a foundation ready for a newer clubhouse). Carts were in pretty good shape, all things considered. 75% of the greens were healthy and look like they have been taken fairly decient care of. The fairways/rough could have used some more TLC, but not enough to make you avoid coming back here. There were more than a few places throughout the course where there were random patches of foot tall weeds sprouting up, but it looked more like the mower had just missed them while cutting. Despite the large # of cars in the parking area, there was rarely any hold up on the course. All in all, for someone of my skill level this was a great place to come "get back into it" after so many years gone by. All in all, it was a pleasurable experience for the $.

For the money you can,t beat this course!!! It is a nice atmosphere with nice people. The club house is a real life barn but does,nt have 60,000 birds in it!!!! you can't ask for a better place to spend 22 bucks on a nice weekday. I will continue to play this course it don't have the snoody people like the bigger courses if you know what i mean.

Cheap prices and small crowds make this a great bargain. The fairways don't have a lot of grass but the greens are in fair shape with only a couple in less than ideal condition, but still playable. Course is fairly open with only a few tight holes.

Great deal for the money

Reviewed August 16, 2007

First review of 2007 for this course yeah! Okay for $20 this is a pretty good deal. The club house is an old barn but they have cold drinks, snacks and best yet cold beer. The cart paths are in pretty good shape and they have brand new carts. The fairways and tee boxes have some crab grass but despite the heat lately overall they are in pretty good shape. The greens are mostly good but where there are bad spots they are bad! They are pretty quick as well. Overall I would reccomend this course for the money. It is fairly wide open but fairly long from the blue tees. Some of the holes are uphill and play longer than advertised.

I will never come here again. Clubhouse was an old barn with 60,000 birds living in it. The driving range (if you could call it that) was almost the 9th fairway. My friend lost his ball mark in a plug hole with no sand in it. My advice to you would be to go somewhere else!!!!!!!!!
