Stonewall Golf Course, Germanton, NC

I played at Stonewall on 05/13/2011. First of all, it may be one of the most expensive public courses in the region. When I played, it was a little odd that no starter managed the start time. Thus, I had to argue with some players about priority of playing. Even though it was rainy, the course was drained quickly and well-maintained. I loved to play at hole 15. To me, it was a miniature hole of Pebble Beach. I may go back and play there sometime soon.

What a big improvement this course has seen over the last year. The new owner has undertaken quite a task, but has shown that he means business. This is a great course with lots of challenging shots and scenic views. If you think more about your ball placement and less about distance you should score well and have a fun round of golf. I will certainly go back again!
