Great little par 3. Flat greens, lots of water. Tee from grass or mats (do the first nine one way then the second the other for a variety).

Awesome course to learn the game on..I played my first round here 25 years ago and its perfect for beginners..."Experienced Balls" used to be 50 cents at the starter shack and you could even rent clubs seperately.. Well taken care of and all you could ask for to break into the game, no crowds or pressure of groups behind you to make you nervous..And for an avid golfer its great to tighten up your short game skills...

Knobbs Creek par 3

This is a simple little golf course, compact and fast to play. For an experienced golfer you probably need nothing longer than a 7 iron to turn in a good score. The major drawback for this municipal course is that the fairways are very narrow and there are too many water hazards for a beginning golfer. A good example of this is the third hole which is all water between the tee box and the rough around the green. Unless a new golfer can hit a straight shot that carries 70 yards in the air, they are likely to lose balls in the water. I feel as a municipal course funded by tax payers that some of the water hazards should be removed and turned into bunkers to make it more accessible to players of all levels. They would still have a narrow course but would not loose balls so easily which is discouraging for new players, and the challenge level would not be decreased for experienced players.
