Disappointing to see a potential course ran into the ground. They think the course is made of gold. Hard to make money when you are shut down. The course is not that special. Its average at best. If you want to keep the course running effectively, open it up and let the people play. If it drizzles, no need to run cart path only. And if there was a little frost on the greens at 4:00 in the morning no need to shut it down until the temps reach 90 degrees. Way too cautious for me. Ill take my money to Charlotte. Youd think the course was PGA manicured and Id understand if it were. But its not so why so many restrictions. For too long, there gonna require you to wash your feet and play bare foot.

Played again in 2014 and its worse than before. Just curious if they joined the Carolina Trail courses because Warrior is in as bad if not worse shape. What a joke. I would rather play a par 3 than go back to this cow pasture.

Fun course, not difficult, large greens, well maintained. I have issues with the fact they offer NO senior discounts, and their Holiday and weekend rates are outrageous. $59.00 for weekends and holidays. You can play Tanglewood Championship, (former site of 1974 PGA championship, and host of Vantage Classic for several years) for $47.00 holidays. T'wood also offers a senior rate of $27.00 and is a much better known course. The Tanglewood Reynolds course is just $31.00 holidays, and a senior rate of $20.00, again a truly great course. Oak Valley, (yearly site of US Open Qualifying in Advance, NC) $55.00 holidays, and a senior rate of $29.00. I don't see how the folks at the Warrior can possibly justify the rates they charge. Most courses tack on an extra ten or fifteen dollars holiday rates, but the Warrior sees fit to double their rate of $30.00 on holidays and weekends. No wonder they were not that busy when I visited on Memorial Day. And why do they not offer seniors any discounts? I cannot believe the general playing public is not outraged at the prices they charge.

Great course,I agree that the greens are some of the best I have played on.The best thing is that they use a better way to aireate their greens,no holes! I wish other courses would get their acts together and look into this.I'm tired of playing a course when the greens are garbage because of holes and a bunch of sand. This was a pleasure.Only areas that needed some work was outer fringe around some of the greens, other than that this course is a great play.

Great course. It is very hard and it has many blind shots. The greens were in great shape.

Course that will allow you to play every club in the bag. A couple of reachable par-5s, nice par 3's. Greens were in excellent shape. Scenery is nice (about 1/3 of the holes have a large lake that comes into play). Course routing is a little funny, but manageable. Staff was very welcoming, even though when we played there was only one person working the grill and we had to wait a little while for our food. Great course for the money. I recommend it.
