Be aware that the higher greens fee for this course is not because of quality but rather the high demand for golf in the area.
Played this course early one Saturday and it was really crowded. Mostly hackers with a wait at each tee. Round took nearly five hours.
This course is in really bad condition and is long overdue for a renovation. The Tees have eroded so much over the years you can't find a level spot to tee your ball. The fairways are just as bad with terrible drainage problems and bare areas. Most of the greens are worn out and eat up with poa so your not going to get a really good roll. Hacker's haven! Probably a good course for beginners to learn.

Only played back 9. OK course many blind tee shots. Greens not very good. Very hilly.

Good public course. Back 9 is definitely a little more challenging. Great views on some of the holes and a number of blind tee-shots that are challenging. Good challenging course. Management does a decent job of maintaining the place. Green's behave differently depending on when you play but overall not bad. I would play there again

Lovely corse the # 1 hole is very tricky there is a santrap to the left in play off the tee this is also a very long hole your second shot is always going to be blind unless you drive 320 yards I don't think too many people can do that!

This is possibly the worst groomed golf course I've stepped on in my 45 years of playing golf. I played it on 4/09/2008 and the condition was horrible.

Great course for the money. Back nine is a little more challenging than the front, but that's a good thing since most people are warmed up by the end of the front. Water is a ball magnet on this course.

Nice course for the money. Very well kept fairways and greens.

The Pleasure was Mine....

Came down from West Virginia this past weekend and played this large course.

First off, I want to thank the workers at the tee-time desk both times I was in. They were SUPER nice and helpful with not only there course, but with other area courses I asked about as well.

I really had fun on this course, despite more intense heat than I'm typically used to, and constant planes landing over-top of me and my Drop-Dead Sexy girlfriend (TARA-BEAR)

Although I wasn't playing very well, It wasn't because of the course. I really enjoyed it.

Maybe not as much as I was expecting, but all in all they've done a really nice job of converting the former landfill into a wonderful golf course. That's what 2 gentlemen in front of us told me. I would have never known if they wouldn't have told me.

If you live or visit the Charlotte area, give this course a "look-see"
Remember, I said I was from West Virginia, that was some of my hillbilly slang.

Thanks for having us North Carolina. Come and see us Up north I "reckon" we've got some nice course up here too.

PS. Thanks for letting my girlfriend ride along for free during my visit.

Keep up the Good Work.

(Just my 2 Cents)
Danny Adkins
