This course has a nice layout, but golf course conditions were terrible. Greens about 50% dirt and 20% crabgrass and weeds. Fairways browned out in many spots, some hard pan, traps need sand and tee boxes about the same as the greens. Overall golf course was in poor shape and no one made any service related efforts to improve our experience. Stayed here on a trip so we had to play three rounds of golf and then played elsewhere. I suspect conditions will get worse before getting better.

This is a top notch golf resort. The course is challenging and in excellent shape. The staff is courteous and treat the their guests well.

Great place to spend an afternoon. Very challenging golf course with plenty of length and difficulty. Need to be ready off the 1st tee as the tee shot is over water. Should play here at least once.

Decent layout, bad groundskeeping?

I loved the layout of this course, but I think it may be a little immature yet. There was a lot of brown spots around the green (although the greens themselves were very nice). Plus, there were a bunch of places where sod had been layed but it was dead. This made is really hard to chip up to the green, because you never knew what type of bounce you would get off of the dead sod. Other than that complaint, the course was nice. I think in a couple of years with some work this course could be very, very good.

Little River

An absolute pleasure to play. This is a difficult course requiring every shot in the bag. Long par 4s and 3s. One has to be able to hit the long irons well and hold the short approach shots tight. A little on the pricey side but an absolutely beautiful and challenging course. Everyone has to play here at least once!
