The Omni Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC

This is a FUN course. It is a resort course so all can play. Well maintained. Frank (the pro) and the rest of the staff are great. Learned alot with Frank.. Only negative: no driving range. In te past you could go to the GP spa afterwards, during the virus (? Omni) you cannont

Just play the course yesterday. First and foremost great course. Only played nine holes though. One under after one, that is a bad omen for me. Arrived at the fifth hole two over no big deal. Fifth hole runs basically parallel to a pretty major road. Well guess what, I push my drive directly into that road. Hit a moving car. Not sure what to do at this point so I continue onward. After 9 holes (last 5 sucked due to incident) met up with the folks car that was damaged. Exchanged insurance info. Grove Park Inn didn't help out one bit. Wanted no parts of it, but gladly took my $50 bucks. They. Really need to do something about this because it could've turned out worst. They said the city of Asheville will not allow them to put up a net but that seems odd to me. If a ball goes thru a windshield and someone dies then what is next???? Anty up Grove Park, I know your pockets are Deep!!!!!! Such a great course with a possible deadly disaster awaiting to happen. And really it does have a to a car, houses are across the street. Ball could have struck a baby being walked in a carriage. My ball flight is normally right to left but my last thought was don't hit into the road. Even waited for the cars to stop coming towards me. Once hit, it seemed as the ball was in the air forever!!!! What does the typical sliced of the golf ball do on this hole??? Pray. Grove Park and the city of Asheville, come together and please do something asap!!!
