Good value, if you play on half-price Mondays. The greens were absolutely abused, pock-marked. I do like the variety of lengths on the holes. It is fairly challenging for a par 3, especially if you do not hit the green. Played 10-27.

Fun Par 3 course...Play here twice a month!

This used to be one of my favorite places to practice; however, the ability to use this as a practice facility has diminished greatly. I was furiously scolded by a starter marshal for taking a provisional after I was fairly sure I put it into a mud hazard on the 7th (the entire "fairway" for the whole is basically a drainage basin that stays muddy and unplayable). This used to be a fun, laid-back place to play, but the new staff members treat it like you're playing a resort course. In the mean time, the greens have completely went downhill from what they were a few months ago, even in the middle of the winter, and the tee boxes have gone by the wayside as well. Before today It'd been about two months before I had been to knights play, and I now remember why I quit going in the first place: second rate play with a pretentious first rate attitude. If you want a fun, decent practice your short game, I recommend Par 401 near Garner: its cheaper, faster to get through, and the people are much more pleasant.

My first course experience, and still my home course. Hats off to the staff and crew, who work overtime keeping this high-traffic course looking and playing acceptably while it gets trampled by huge crowds of rowdies, especially at night. The par-3's have tricky little built-in challenges everywhere, so don't underestimate!

This is an easy par-3. Look out for water hazards. Bring a waterball-getter. You probably won't use more than a 6 iron at the most.
