With a one plane swing you can let the club rip and release right from the top of the downswing as hard as you like, do not create any wrist lag like you would find in a two plane swing.
Because of the rounded arm swing in the one plane swing the finish features a flatter finish position with your hands lower and further from your head.
To get more distance, turn your torso in the backswing not your hips
