The 18-hole "Branson Hills" course at the Branson Hills Golf Club facility in Branson, Missouri features 7,324 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Bobby Clampett/Chuck Smith, the Branson Hills golf course opened in 2008.
My brother and I played the course in July 2011. Great layout and we very much enjoyed playing the course. For the price, they need to improve a few small things that long time golfers expect. Missing were drinking water located on the course, towels on some of the ball cleaners and no cups were provided even though there was a small cooler with ice on the cart. After playing we had lunch in the clubhouse. It is a beautiful setting and the food & service were very good. I suspect we will see a Nationwide tournament played there one of these years.
My group had a terrible experience at this course. They do not honor the tee time prices that are booked on their own website! I received a call the morning of our tee time to let me know that the special online rate would not be honored for our group. The GM insisted that we pay the regular rate. We really wanted to play, so we went along with it, but that created a very bad vibe on the experience. The way that they treat customers must be the reason that nobody was at the course on a beautiful weekend in April. This course needs a few more years to mature, but I have my doubts that they will make it that long.
The most pristine course I've ever played. The second most beautiful. It was awesome to pay tribute to Payne!
My son and a friend traveled to Branson with me from St. Louis just play this course. Well worth the trip! We'll be back.
Me and a friend played this Awsome course 3/13/10 and 3/18/10. It's a hard course. Tight fairways. Bent grass greens were the best If you go to branson don't miss this one.
