Atikwa Golf Course At Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center, Alexandria, MN

Not a good experience at all. Starting with the pro shop that smelled like beer and cigarettes to the golf cart that was very slow and had a partially flat tire and the poor signage that made us give up after 7 holes and quit instead of finding the next 2 holes. There was one hole that, if you could not hit it over 300 yards from the tee, you needed to chip it 100 yards and then shoot over this 200 yard ravine that made it impossible to play the hole unless you were good enough, and then you wouldn't be at that course anyway. A very hilly course that, at times, you had to drive your cart almost to the green to see what you were doing; on one hole, we were right next to the green and still couldn't see the green without climbing a hill. It was a lot cheaper so definitely a "get what you pay for situation" and we won't be going back.
