This is a great course for those that are just starting to enjoy the wonderful sport of golf to those that are a little more experienced in the game. Being a resident to this local course makes it a popular spot for me when I just want to play a nice leisurely game of golf. The course it's self is nothing fancy just a regular 9 hole course it's not a very challenging course for the more experienced golfer, but for those of you that are just starting out you will find a decent challenge. The people on staff are very friendly as well as the locals that you will eventually play with on the course. As far as the course goes very few hazards. There are a few water hazards nothing very large. There is one on hole 1, and 2 specifically. Then 4-9 there are a few stream like water hazards which are easily clear able in one or two shots. Both holes three and eight are par 3's easily reached by a decent player with a pitching wedge or a lob wedge. Both holes are positioned on top of small hills so it is more of a lob shot to make the green. Hole eight is more difficult, because you have to take in account for the many trees that are around not only t-box but the green as well. You will most defiantly be shoot through them. Again this course for the price is a fun little 9 hole course that you will find to be able to play a nice quick, leisurely game.

Quincy Golf Course is a very short course. It has 4 par 3's and 2 short Par 4's. It also has 2 par 5's that can be reached in 2 with 2 solid shots. Number 7 has to be the most difficult hole. It is a long par 4 with 2 creeks cutting through the fairway and a big tree to the right of the green. Although this whole has the widest fairway it still forces you to hit 2 quality shots to have a chance at birdie. Overall this course is fun to play just because even with a high handicap it is possible to shoot in the 30's for 9 holes.
