I would just like to say that they have a new manager now after too many complaints about the grumpy little woman. The course is still one of the best around and now has a much more friendly manager. If It was the woman that put you off before, I would suggest taken another shot at this wonderful course now.

Extremely disappointed with the golf courses ability to take care of the customer. For a golf course out of the Gaylord, MI golf mecca by over an hour we fully expected a little better service. The counter people were very arrogant, rude, and pushy. Playing the golf course over 5 years ago and enjoy the challenge and scenery, I fully expected the same treatment we had then. The 12 of us (whom all play the tips with the highest handicap being an 8) recommend staying in Gaylord Golf Mecca to play the Tribute, Black Forest, or Treetops Trio. This way you could sneak in three tops between 18's.

Okay, sometime has passed...the UAW still owns the place (it's got to be a tax write off, has never been in the black), the grumpy little woman still manages the place and is driving customers away(what's up with that), and there hasn't been any upgrades or improvements to the facilites in sometime(oh, thats right, a new cheap LCD TV). So sad, this operation could be so much more with the right ownership/management! Oh, least I forget, really slow play on the times it is somewhat busy...too bad!
