Well maintained golf course. However, wild, errant shots are not really penalized. Shots into the fairway are not any different than a wild shot off the fairway. A good course will penalize wild shots with a drop. Devil's Lake doesn't. Also you are not able to dive a golf cart to your car to pick up your clubs and other items. If you have a physical handicap with walking, this is a detriment. Paying an extra $7.00 for a cart (added to the greens fees) is a negative, especially if you are not able to walk the course.

Fun course to play, nothing fancy, they do a decent job keeping the conditions up pretty good. Nice mix of older holes with newer (course expanded from 9 to 18 holes about 10 years ago). Laid back atmosphere, great course to go play on short notice.

This is a beautiful and well maintained course. You must play it if your in the area. The course shouldn't play that hard but for some reason this course eats my lunch. Makes me want to play it again!
