The 18-hole "Prairie Creek" course at the Prairie Creek Golf Course facility in Dewitt, Michigan features 6,175 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by William Newcomb, the Prairie Creek golf course opened in 1979. Greg Overway manages the course as the General Manager.

For a high handicap golfer I really enjoy this course. The people working this course are very friendly, and the course itself is at just the right level of challenge. While I did "visit" some of the neighboring fairways, most of the holes are pretty secluded in feel. I would definitely recommend this course and will keep it on my "play again" list. By the way, some of the holes on the back 9 are rather far apart, so consider using a cart.
