The 18-hole "Manitou" course at the Manitou Passage Golf Club facility in Cedar, Michigan features 6,700 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Designed by Arnold Palmer, the Manitou golf course opened in 2010.
Nice course, very challenging esp if you tip it (#8 from the tips, you'd better stripe it). Still cannot believe, though, that with the prices they charge there is no driving range. Inexcusable. Hopefully the new owners (Manitou Passage?) have the good sense to put in a range. Do whatever you have to do, lie, cheat, steal, bribe the DNR…get a range in. This course is too hard to play without being able to warm up. Option of going to Sleeping Bear down the road to range is no option at all.
