Very very nice. This was recommended by another course in the area. Excellent design, play flows well, excellent maintenance. Fair but challenging. One hole under construction, does not deminish my good rating. White poles show 150 yards, wish they had blue at 200 and red at 100. These markers are in the fairways. $60 with a cart on a Saturday. Sure wished I was in the area longer as previous nights rain made a mess. I'll be back for sure.

Played July 2012 on vacation in Maine. The fairway grass is extremely deep and thick so that you cannot feel the ground when taking a divot. It was somewhat wet making conditions worse. It was like hitting out of odd rough. Not pleasant. Otherwise, the course is a tough layout. One hole from the back is over 600 yards with 3 forced carries over wetlands. The average golfer will have a very tough time on this course. In that area, Fox Meadows is preferred.

This was a beautiful golf course and it is in great condition despite a dry summer. I played the front nine in a thick fog so I didn't really get to see all of it but from what I did see and from the back nine this was a very scenic golf course. It is a tough challenge from the tips and definitely a must play for the price if you are in the area. It is a little bit of a tough walk though but the option is available to you.
