Its not Bulle Rock, Beechtree, Maryland G&CC or Mountain Branch. But I can play 2-3 rounds at Ruggles for the price of one round at those listed above.

The course is well maintained, the greens roll true and the service is great. There are some drainage issues on a couple holes.

7400 yds or so from the tips can make this course a beast if you so choose. The course is fairly open, but trees will catch almost any overly wayward shot. Greens are very large but that can also change your approach shot by two clubs depending on the hole. Zero blind shots on the course allow for a much faster round.

New management came in around 2012 and really turned every aspect of this course around. Well worth the round over paying out the ear for any of the aforementioned clubs and in much better condition than Wetlands or Geneva Farm.

I see no recent reviews of this course and there deserves to be more. Haven't played here in a few years and WoW is it nice. Very well maintained and in excelent condition. The addition of a few new tees and new greens are a big improvement. Head Pro Dave Correll and especially Superintendent Mark Burk have a gem on their hands. Can't wait to return. Thanks, Chuck Taylor
