Overall the outside staff are rude and not consumer friendly. I was there a couple of years ago in January on a 40 degree day and was told by the staff( I called ahead to check) that I could not play in a NIKE warm up suit. After complaining I was allowed to play and was then corrected for having a cart tire on the grass. That did not make for a relaxed round of golf. This past week I was practicing at the putting green and had a couple of old range balls in a ball bag. When I was inside the club house I left my clubs and bag of balls outside. A staff member went through my ball bag and accused me of stealing the range balls from the course. These guys are like Nazi police. I have never been at a course where people act like that.

This is a very fine public course. The staff inside and the marshals outside were friendly and attentive. The pace of play was exceptional in the afternoon, and the course was in excellent condition. I highly recommend it; however you need to play the proper tees as even the gold tees for seniors are over 6000 yards.

Played 18 holes today in 4 1/2 hours. Marshal came by several times to make sure we were OK because of 2 slow groups in front of us. Course was in good shape after yesterday's rain and we were 90 degrees off the cart path rather than cart path only. Even the bunkers had been power-raked (they would have been unplayable otherwise.)

Staff was very accomodating and got me off immediately as a walk-on.

My experience was very positive.

This is one of the five finest public courses you will play. Greens are fast and full of hidden undulations. The course design is superb. Wide open fairways but still plenty of trouble for wayward shots. Great conditioning even for the first week of December. Perfect weather on this Friday morning and not many golfers. Tee placement guidance was incorrect so I'll blame that for my 84. This isn't your thirty dollar muni which may keep some hackers away. That's a good thing. An annual membership is only $4,300.00 which includes cart & greens fees, range and pro shop discount. That's a steal!
