Yesterday around 5:30 pm I was struck with a golf ball, while waiting on the 22 bus. I think you should put up some type of barrier. If I were elderly my hip would be badly injured. I am in tremendous pain and can't go to the hospital because I have to work.

I think if you enjoy solid, interesting, varied Golden Age designs, you will like Clifton Park... a lot. It starts and ends with 530ish yard par 5s. In between, the routing is efficient and it effectively manages to keep the windage changing from one hole to the next. Staff were remarkably friendly and accommodating. This is not a long course... @ 6100 from the tips but imagine standing up to the tee with hickory shafted clubs. The finishing hole has golfers firing directly at the 1802 vintage, summer estate of Johns Hopkins. Bunkering is well done. Greens were rolling superbly for the end o'winter. Fairways had just been verticut. I drove down from Philly and the ride was well worth it.

Decided to play this course because the reviews said they offered in cart GPS. When I got to the ProShop they said they no longer offer GPS because of cost or equipment breaking. I was already out there so I decided to play... and I can tell why they need GPS in cart ... there are the occasional 150,175,200 markers but nothing else. It hard to find a sprinkler and none were marked. There are maybe one or two level holes everything else has a pretty significant up or downhill. I wasn't a big fan, but I guess that is preference.

This course may be an enjoyable experience for men but the two times I have played this course have not been for me. The marshalls and maintenence men are extremely sexist. This type of behavior and treatment in 2010 is not acceptable. I will never play here again because of them. They have no idea what they are talking about, are extremely rude, stubborn, and openly show disdain. If you want to play a relaxing round of golf do not play here. One extra tidbit, the lady at the snack shack is not polite or happy in the least and they sell you expired Snickers bars for $1.00. Gross.
I recommend Pine Ridge GC, while it is more expensive its a more enjoyable experience and has a driving range which allows you te opportunity to warm-up before a round.
