Played 8/16/2011 as a guest. Beautiful day, which probably helped, but even in bad weather, I think the review would be about the same -- in one word, perfect. Perfect conditions, perfectly straightforward layout, perfect walking course, great caddie (Mike) offering perfect reads. Nothing tricked up. Everything is right there in front of you. It's not that hard, so why is it so rare? Long par 4's, short par 5's. 18 is a fine finishing hole. And then you can walk off the green onto the porch for a cool one. As I said, "Perfect."
