The 18-hole "Transcona G.C." course at the Transcona Golf Club facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba features all the hallmarks of Manitoba golf. Transcona G.C. golf course opened in 1962.
Went to Transcona Golf Course to play 18 holes with 5 of my friends. About halfway through, the marshal and course director or assistant manager came and told us we had to separate into 2 groups of 3. (Due to COVID-19 complications) After respectfully abiding by their rules, we noticed multiple groups of 6-8 golfers casually playing together. We decided to stop playing around the 13th hole and when we arrived at the club house I saw a group of 15-20 golfers huddled up celebrating and hoisting up a trophy with the course manager present.I understand that policies and rules have to be followed- but I felt that there was some type of nepotism shown due to a relationship certain golfers had with management. Only complaint I have is a lack of professionalism shown by the staff. Either enforce the club rules or don’t
