Nice little course to play. Was well maintained, not overly long but alot of water to avoid. Well worth the visit

Overall course was in good shape. One thing I didn't like was the sprinklers that were going off constantly. One hole I had to hurry my shot to avoid getting wet. Another hole had to grab my bag and make a run for it. Kinda ruined two holes for me.

This course is worth a play. I don't particularly find the design very interesting. Tee shots are bland. Greens are pretty much all the same size and shape. No real interesting features other than a couple water hazards which shouldn't really come into play. Very few risk/reward situations.

BUT, I will say that both times I played here the pace was excellent. The course was well maintained, and the price was right. Give it a shot, it may fit your eye better than it did mine.

Course is in great shape. Greens are challenging. play moved well. Interesting holes. Good value.

Great course for novices. The two draw-backs are the ducks everywhere (especially the sixth fairway) and the greens all seem to be crowned.

Good value for the money. Not overly challenging, but it is cheap given the great location, and it is in decent condition.

Correction to Bob Jones Review

"I was going through the comments on this website before posting my own and I was stunned to hear such negative replies of which I find hard to believe."

For the record, there are (at time of posting) no other reviews of this golf course, negative or otherwise, so the reviews Mr. Jones is referring to are likely to be for other golf courses and are certainly not for this one. Just pointing out to save any confusion.

A Great Course, Everyone Should Play Here!

I was going through the comments on this website before posting my own and I was stunned to hear such negative replies of which I find hard to believe. My expierence at Indian Meadows Golf Course was so completely different. When I went in to the proshop I was greeted not by one but by two very attractive women who I thought were twins. When I commented on such they laughed and said they were sisters. It was nice to see women working in the proshop, instead of the usual grumpy old men that I have encountered at the surrounding courses. I was ready to golf after paying my greens fee and realized I forgot to purchase my water, when I realized I'd spent all my cash on my greensfee, I took out my credit card and one of the women said "Dont bother charging a water dont worry about it, here you go" and gave me the water. I was blown away someone would actually do that and with a smile as well, (give me something for FREE.) The starter was an older man and quite pleasent as he greeted me from a gazeebo at which he was seated. He paired me up with a nice group and off I went to golf. I found the course to be in beautiful shape, the greens were challenging to putt on instead of the completely flat greens I usually encounter. As far as the grounds crew they were quite corgile to me. One gentlemen was mowing the fairways and came up to me. He had a golfball in his hand and said "Here you go, I may have run over your ball." I explained to him that he didn't, and he told me to keep the ball anyway and drove off. The remainder of the 9 holes played well, and I truley enjoyed this course. I found it to be one of the best maintained courses i've played be it nine or eighteen holes. As far as water on the course, the proshop sells water and there are bubblers on the course. To all those who have not yet played indian meadows golf course, I highly recommend this course for its personable staff and beautiful conditions.
