Templewood Golf Course, Templeton, MA

I love this place. Just moved to the area and started playing here because the price can't be beat for what you get. I met a guy who works out on the course and he was very nice. Most places they just ignore you! Nice greens and pace of play has been great so far.

Could not say enough good things about this course.Not much play that day due to cold and blustery weather. Paid $26 for 18 and a cart. Good beer selection, hamburger @ the clubhouse. Staff could not be more friendly or accommodating. Views of foliage and mountains were amazing.Challenging but fair course. Only minor critique would be that the greens whoa little rough on some holes. Rest of the course was lush and in good condition.

I played this course over the weekend and really enjoyed it. I find the the price for walking 9 holes was very fair, and that the grounds, while not perfect, were quite respectable and playable. I will definitely be playing here again.

Don't listen to the few old negative reviews & check this place out. Just started playing here(in 2014). It didn't matter if I was the last one to leave or first one to tee off the head grounds keeper (the owners granddaughter) April is always there working hard to keep the bunkers maintained, leaves off the greens fairways..., weed whacking /pulling, filling ball washers divots.. You name it her & her grandfather put a ton of pride into maintaining this course & it shows! Price is right along with all the other public courses in the area & if they have a tournament going on they recommend the nearest courses INSTEAD of bad-mouthing them like I've expirenced many other places! The view & atmosphere can't be beat!

Do not play here! Worst conditions I've ever seen. Owners are basically stealing from the public. Played by myself on an empty course and my girlfriend came along for the walk. Owners tried to charge her $10 just for walking on this unbelievably terribly maintained course

Played there twice. Was harassed by the course manager the first time but the second trip was more pleasant. Overall a nice course but not very memorable. Quite buggy during the hotter months so bring the repellant. Easy to walk.
