Segregansett Country Club, Taunton, MA

The course had an offer on June 20, 2011 to be a member for a day. I took them up on the offer and brought 3 buddies along to test out the course. We were not disappointed. The superinerndent does an outstanding job. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. If I lived closer to the course, I would join. To me they rate the #2 hole, the 2nd easiest; however, I rate it one of the hardest, maybe the 2nd hardest. The tee shot needs to be right, so that your approach on the 2nd shot will clear the water without implements. From this point, you have a chance at par or birdie, but the first two shots need to be precise.

Thr front has a higher slope than the back. This course is over 100 years old and is always in great shape. 7th green should be rebuilt. Crazy little 13th eats me up every time. Clubhouse is small and intimate. Members are very friendly.
