This is by far one of the most enjoyable courses in the area. The layout is easy to play but offers multiple options to play each hole. The course is maintained, the greens are a little bit slower but very smooth. The VALUE cannot be beaten ($23 for all day play! weekends!) I always seem to meet some friendly people who I can play along with. There are 3 par 4 greens that can be reached in one, and a 200 yd par 3 that makes for some headaches! For an enjoyable good round of golf at a great price it cannot be beaten.

Pretty pricey for what it is, granted $23 get's you all day play, but after playing the first 9 I had no desire to play through the course again. This course has a really confusing layout with crisscrossing fairways, and confusing tee spots, makes for a course that does not flow at all. Not much to look at as far as scenery and wildlife, power lines run through the course, and the greens were in pretty bad shape when I went.

I don't think I will be going back to this course any time soon.

Course does not offer tee times and beginners slow your round down a considerable amount of time. Waited on the 1st tee for 1 hour - starter is clueless. Greens are very, very slow and power lines come into play on 2 or 3 holes. Fairways in decent shape, tee boxes need attention and a ranger is needed to speed up the pace. 4 hours for 9 holes makes you not want to go there ever again. $33 for 9 holes & a cart is a bit on the high side for this subpar golf course. Spend your money at Hillside a couple miles away.

Don't waste your time (or money).....
As noted by another reviewer, several of the holes cris-cross, and it seems like there's a LOT of folks whose tee shots end up on the wrong fairway....a helmet might not be a bad idea. There are utility lines that cross the course, ruining the view and creating a look off the 8th tee that is just bizarre. Not many bunkers, so not very challenging. The bunkers that do exist don't seem to have an awful lot of sand in them. The worst part though is the heavy handed treatment by the grounds keepers. On Sunday Sept 2, in the middle of a beautiful Labor Day weekend, on a perfect day for golf, the staff decided that it was time to water the course. In the middle of the day! Suddenly sprinklers were on everywhere! They turned the course into a waterpark, not only were there fountains all over the fairways, but the grounds staff were standing on the greens, watering while patrons were attempting to play. The worst was on the par 5 4th where some schmuck had a hose stretched completely across the green between my ball and the hole. as I approached, I gestured at the ball, he just looked and went back to watering. I had to putt around the end of the hose (off the green) to get to the hole, costing at least two additional strokes. Needless to say, once the water started flowing all over the place, what should have been an enjoyable day was ruined, in what I'd have to say is about the strangest thing I've ever seen a golf course do. There are many fine alternatives in the area so there's no reason to put up with this kind of treatment. As for myself, I'll never go back, and I'm going to make certain that my friends who also play are suitably forewarned!!!!!! Consider yourself forewarned as well!!!!

Good course for beginners

This course offers reasonable greens fees, huge landing areas, and minimal hazards to give the new golfer a pleasant experience. The people are great - if you get paired up with others they are generally fun to play with. The staff are friendly and helpful. You should bring a helmet though; with criss-crossing fairways and blind landing areas on some holes (combined with a lot of new golfers that don't know the ettiquette very well) you will find yourself ducking a few times per round.
