Good: Convienent location, right on Rte 1. Friendly staff. Very affordable rates, especially during non-peak times.

Bad: Poor maintenance on fairways, sprinkler heads in some greens, not especially scenic.

Overall: Most of the comments on golf-link seemed to be right on. However, it is what it is, and everyone finds what is positive and negative for them. I found this is a great course for beginners and those looking for low-stress practice on their game. The course wasn't overly crowded, and I had a fun round. The course is entirely flat, and very easy to walk, if that is what you prefer. If you're obsessed with maintenance and only want the finest fairways and greens, this is not the course for you. If you are a golfer who likes a difficult course, I'd agree with those who say this one isn't the most challenging. It's all about your personal preference. I think for what you get, the course is a good enough value and I will go back.

This course is an excellent place to learn the game. Short and straight with not to many challenging greens. Maintenance is subpar to be polite. I'd reccommend heather hill in plainville. It's maintained better and about the same price for 18 holes.

Don't waste your money. Fairways were lumpy to the point you couldn't drive a cart. Rough was so thick that you easily lost balls. Terrible maintenance.

Played here for the first time yesterday, and won't be coming back. Except for a couple of strange dog-legs, most holes are straight, flat, and boring. Many fairways are in horrible shape with large patches of mud and muck in the middle. And the place was teeming with mosquitoes. At $34.00 for 18 holes on the weekend, it sounds like a bargain, but you'll wish you'd spent a little more (or even a little less) to go somewhere else.

I am a beginner, there is student discount, I paid $25 dollars to play 9 holes (includes golf cart). Greens are in okay shape and most importantly, this golf course is not crowded. Overall, 3 stars for me.

Norwood is a course that has never approached excellence or even being very good. One has to accept that it is what it is - a value course - easy to walk and play - simple and straightforward. In spring fairways are soaked and in summer the opposite - irrigation is sparse but the greens are generally good. The course is very easy with it's quirks the first time you play - but if you want to spend 50 dollars or more for a round - go further south! This year I have noticed improvements from the new management company - hope springs eternal....

Overall,I think the course has value as it is a cheap 18 during the weekday. However, don't expect great fairway conditions. I would suggest Winter Rules!

The staff was rude form the seconde I got there. They were very unfriendly and unprofessional. A couple of 12 year olds could have ran the club house better. Greens were in rough shape. Fairways were horrid. Great place to go if you want to waste your money

Wide open for a Tee Time. You can play a round in under 4 hours. Great value. Nice place to just play golf.

For $48 bucks I think someone should file RICO charges against the owner.

Top Notch!

This Course may not look like much when you drive up but The greens are always in great shape...Fairways are challenging...and the staff are the best...For the money it's a great course:)

Not worth any money to play.

The course is in such bad shape it should be embarrassed to call it self a golf course.
