Way too good to miss a must play. Bring your A game and be prepared to be challenged. Shoot your handicap on your first visit, not likely. Give it a go if you think you are good enough.

The course in the past has been very well maintained however for the Spring of 2011 things are slipping. The fairways are sparse and very firm, does not show any indication of watering to promote grass growth. Take a divot and you're throwing dust. While other courses are looking great, there's quite a few bare spots with way too Johnson Grass growing in the fairways.

The bunkers have always been one of their weak areas, not well drained and using a heavy construction grade sand. Now there's very little if any sand in many of the bunkers and if it is, it's very packed. You're essentially hitting off hard ground with maybe 1/4" of loose dirt to get the ball out of deep bunkers.

The course has a lot to offer and I would love to play it more but to spend over $50 weekdays for this is not acceptable. There are too many better maintained courses that cost less.

One of the best maintained, toughest courses I have ever played. I live about 45 minutes away and you can't beat the affordability, especially the $27 twilight fee. Accuracy is a must and right now the greens are like putting on glass. Clubhouse service in the Pro Shop and Waterfront Grill is top notch. We have actually seen bears here when we play, which is an awesome experience.
