The 18-hole "Ellendale" course at the Ellendale Country Club facility in Houma, Louisiana features 6,552 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.3 and it has a slope rating of 116 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Joseph S. Finger/(R) Frank 'Max' Maxwell, Jr., CGCS/Nathan Crace, the Ellendale golf course opened in 1967. Devin Thomas manages the course as the General Manager.

One of the best courses in the state . This course is always in great shape , Can play very tough at times, with tight fairways , hardest par 5’s around , tough opening hole , great tournaments. Everyone is excellent in what they do , and treats you with respect . Very well kept country club . One of my favorite courses in the state . The members there should be proud of this facility. I play at the University Club and Ellendale is up there with our club . Don’t miss a opportunity to play this course .
