Course was in great shape and there wasn't very much wait time. I booked a 915 tee time and was teeing off by 925. Great value as well.

This course is in the best shape I've seen it in a very long time. The staff was friendly, the whole experience was pleasant. One of my favorite in this area due to the reasonable prices and pleasant experience.

We had 24 golfers that had just returned from a weekend at Bright Leaf. The course was in great shape, the lodging was comfortable and clean, the restaurant was good home cooking, the staff was friendly, and accommodating. We would recommend it highly for a nice laid back weekend of fun. They are a dry county but we brought our own and could take it out on the course. While our stay, we visited the new Montgomery Gentry Steak house entertainment center, they served alcohol and great food. It was a mile away from the resort. Our group booked our golf trip for next year. Hope this helped.

Do not stay here - the staff are extremely rude and unpleasant. Don't believe the prices as advertised on their website - they nickel and dime you to the very end. The rooms are poor, overpriced, and not as advertised. The course is a pitch and putt in poor condition. Also of note - its located in a dry county. You'll drive a long way just to get a beer. Stay away!!

Stayed here for a three day weekend on the "all inclusive package". Everyone was extremely disappointed with the course maintenance and staff of the resort. All tee boxes remained backed up due to the course starting off with two par 3's and the staff not allowing groups off the back 9 or back 27 which ultimately caused our tee times (along with everyone else) to be pushed back by 90 minutes every morning. The condition of the course is beaten down and in desperate need of water. The onsite staff was rude, short tempered and removed our bags from our carts and left them in the parking lot without notice while we were eating. Along with our bags being left in the parking lot, belongings came up missing from carts. Overall saying it was a horrible experience is being generous on behalf of Bright Leaf; I do not recommend this course to anyone and suggest you stay far away from it.

Nice course, a little out dated but very well cared for. course is some what short and very freindly greens

For the price, this course cannot be beat. It is kept in outstanding condition even with the amount of rounds being played. The third 9 holes is easily the most difficult as the fairways are tight and water comes into play on 4 holes. The service is impeccable and food is decent. I'd definitely recommend to anyone. BTW, the all-inclusive is the best bet as you can play all you want. My group of 12 people were able to get in 45 holes each day with no problem. I plan on going again this year as well!
