The 18-hole "Longview" course at the Longview Golf Club facility in Georgetown, Kentucky features 6,559 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 70.7 and it has a slope rating of 120. Designed by Buck Blankenship, the Longview golf course opened in 1968.

Played this course late June 2013, the guys in the clubhouse were very polite, knowledgeable about the course (knew which holes the water jugs were on without hesitation). The course left a lot to be desired. The greens all had abrasive ball marks. The rough and fairway were at time difficult to discern, the rough would swallow golf balls despite not being very long and littered with clover and crabgrass. Unimpressed for $32 a round. The par 3's were the most difficult holes on the course often 200+ yards while other holes were not nearly as challenging.

Unique course - The back 9 has a lot more character than the front 9.
