Fun public course. Challenging for all handicaps. Great use of natural terrain. Better than majority of courses in the area in same price range. We play there in Monday evening golf leagues and usually weekends.Owners are fantastic people and very nice. Staff is great.

This course is challenging enough for the lower handicapper, but easy enough for the beginner. Front nine features several long & straight fairways, while the back nine features several elevated tee boxes and hill shots. It is certainly NOT overpriced by comparison to any other course in the area and with recent renovations to the clubhouse and purchases of 20 brand new golf carts, the value is comparable. It is obviously to me that the owners are definitely trying to improve this course! Considering the down economy where Jefferson County is cutting budgets to its' local municipal courses (especially when it's needed after the ice storm has destroyed hundreds of trees), I'm predicting that 2009 will see this course flourish with activity and growth. Let's be realistic - this course is NOT a fair or comparable comparison to Covered Bridge, Champions Point, or even Heritage Hills in Shepherdsville. But, you'll not play those courses for $35 with a cart either!

I drop wedge shots from 80 - 130 yards out and leave NO divot marks on the greens. Very strange greens. Fairways are okay but I don't think they are kept as well as the average rating shows. Overpriced by about $10 bucks for value.

Watch the blue laws - no coolers of beer o/n Sunday!

Personnel are very nice.

I play this course often and find it to be a great value compared to some of the other courses in its area. Everyone is very friendly and the course is in good shape.

Not one of my favorites

In my opinion, this course is overpriced compared to some of the courses in the area. There are a few goofy holes too. Other than that, the course is usually in good shape and is not a bad golf destination.

CHOOO CHOOOO!

Its nice if you can play with a train wizzing by you on the 10th hole. The course is actually really nice. I think it used to be a private course. The fairways and the greens were pretty good. I have had better.
