The 18-hole "Legacy Hills" course at the Legacy Hills Golf Club facility in La Porte, Indiana features 6,600 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Langford and Moreau, the Legacy Hills golf course opened in 1904.
The two nines are different from one another. The front nine is well established, and a very good challenge. The back nine was built is much newer and has a very different feel, with great distance between some of the holes. The 10th hole, with its stair step effect, seems a little gimmicky; otherwise, it is a very pleasant round worth the trip.
