I used to frequent this course when I lived in Evansville from 2000-2004. The course was in great shape and had a great grounds crew. I recently attended an event in Evansville and could not wait to get back here to play it again. Sadly though this course has taken a dive. For a Southern Indiana course I was deeply disappointed at how bad of shape this course was. Weeds on the greens. Dandelions in the fairways. Exposed dirt/No grass on greens, tee boxes, and fairways. Bunkers were either under water or had dirt - not sand in the them. For the price, I was deeply disappointed and wish I would have gone some place else.

Course is in very good shape, especially considering less than 2" of rain fell here this month. Played it a year ago, wasn't real impressed, but conditions are much improved and a good sized crew was working on it in a number of areas while we played. Eagle Valley presents a number of different challenges, and each hole is different. If you just miss or barely make it on the green, you can expect your ball to end up away from that green. Staff's great, but call ahead because they often have scrambles. Will be back soon..!!

From start to finish this course is a blast to play. Starting atop a hill overlooking a midrange par five hole with a stream crossing it right around your landing zone, to a par three that is shot over a lake, and ending on a long par five with that same stream from the first hole again crossing right in the landing zone. your last iron shot of the day willbe up a monsterous hill with the green sitting atop it like a castle. Very courteous staff and friendly owners. great place to have an outing or host a scramble! I also put this course in my top five in the area.

Loved it!!

The setting this course was quite scenic. The clubhouse sits atop a hill looking out over the course surrounded by beautiful homes and woods. The staff was extremely friendly and prices were affordable. Playing from the tips it is not the longest course I've played but certainly challenging and fun. I would highly recommend this track and rate it one of the top five in the area.

Very Good Area Golf Course

Eagle Valley is a good value for the average golfer. You will always find a great golfing atmosphere with a friendly staff which explains why the course holds the most golf outings in the Tri-State.
The golf course is in it's best condition in the spring and fall. The greens are in great condition, however they are on the slow side during the summer months, especially during June, July, August, because of a limited water supply and fear of losing the greens during a common area summer drought and very hot and humid temperatures. The greens speed up during the fall and spring when this is not a threat. MOST OF ALL YOU CAN ALWAYS FIND A GAME WITH WHATEVER ACTION YOU WANT!!! P.S. DON'T PLAY DARRETT BRINKER WITH A driver AND AN 8-IRON
