St. Andrews Golf & Country Club, West Chicago, IL

Conditions: Course seems to be in the best shape I have ever seen it. Greens and fairways were rolling true. Not pristine, but nice overall.

Difficulty: Long, but not overly difficult. About average when it comes to shot making. All par 3s are 200+ yards from the Blues, and the finishing 3 holes are long and tough.

Scenery: Lots of mature oaks, definitely has the "old time" feel to it. Also, very few houses around the course, which is always nice.

Amenities: A very nice practice facility. Good 19th hole facilities as well.

Value: I got a deal online for $25 w/cart, which was a steal. I don't know what listed greens fees are now, but $40-50 (w/cart) seems like a fair price on a random morning. For the deal finders, I think they have a twilight all-u-can-golf deal for like $20-walk/$30-ride after 3pm.

Played in October and course was in good shape overall. Long and challenging par-3's make this course a test. Rolling terrain provides variety of shots. Others in group shot good scores as well so will return - a good course and club

This course is crap. It is poorly maintained and expensive for you what you get. I've putted on miniature golf courses with better and more challenging greens. It was difficult to tell where the fairway ended and the rough started. Fairway had huge bare spots sand traps looked like they hadn't been taken care of for years with huge washouts, deep standing water etc. I will NOT play this course ever again. Definitely NOT worth the money.
