Played this 9 at least 20 times by now. I don't know what happened with the first guy, but I really enjoy Schaumburg Golf Club. The rates are decent for residents. The greens are usually really good, same with the fairways minus all of the unfilled divots. Pace of play is really good or horrible. No in between. It's really all luck with you get stuck behind. If they put actual GPS in the carts, it would be the best municipal course in the area. There is GPS, but its a 4inx4in screen with yardage to green. Overall, I recommend this course on weekdays before 4p.m. and weekends before noon.
