This course has a lot going for it. This course is more scenic, thrilling and memorable than a lot of courses in Chicagoland. This is deep woods golf (very rare). There are a few holes that require one to thread the needle off the tee. It feels good if one can do it. Many tees are at high altitude shooting down which is always a lot of fun. Very tough from the back tees so choose wisely. I really liked "Amen corner" 5, 6 and 7. Drive out to Oregon and support this great course!
