I don't know why it's populating as only 4 stars
Skokie - Best Club on the Northside.Skokie CC is the best overall golf course on the northside of Chicago. I've had the opportunity to play it numerous times, and its one of those golf courses that you would never get tired of playing. Beautiful bunkering with large fast greens. A mix of holes that force the golfer to use every club in his or her bag. Not a very long course around 7,000 from the back, but challenging enough for the scratch player. The club itself is one of the best in Chicago offering all ammentities. A pleasure to play, I can't wait to go back in the spring for another round.
Skokie Country ClubA beautiful, challenging track. 5 par fives and five tough par threes. Large, rolling greens that are always slick and tricky. One of the best maintained courses I have ever played. Held the US Open in 1922 won by Gene Sarazen over Robert Jones and a recent US Senior Amateur. Plays over 7000 yards from the blues and about 6700 from the whites. One of the three best courses in Illinis.
