Yes, this is a VERY difficult golf course that requires a tremendous amount of accuracy and thought be put into every shot. It is not a resort course that forgives your errant tee shots or topped balls with wide-open or parallel fairways. Literally every hole requires some carry to reach the fairway or putting surface. Nicklaus has designed the perfect risk/reward experience. Reachable par-5s that have plenty of downside if you are off the mark. The course is very well maintained. The greens are very dificult with lots of movement and false fronts - on this point Nicklaus overdid it in my opinion. Other than that complaint (and the need for a new clubhouse), this is one of the finest mountain courses I have ever played. If you can hit decent golf shots, this course will reward you with some of the best views anywhere.
