The owners are very friendly & treat you like family. We stay at Timberline Golf every chance we get. The 9 Hole Course is challenging to young and old, novice or master and is well taken care of. It is nestled among the Quaken Aspen and Pines just off Highway 47, amid the quiet grandeur of the Tetons in Northern Fremont County, Idaho. The area & golf course is absolutely beautiful. We just love it there!
We stayed at the condo at Timberline Golf this past weekend for a family reunion. The accommodations and the service was excellent. Bonnie & Carl are awesome people that will treat you like family. We plan on staying again for our anniversary later this month. The golf course is well taken care of. This is a great gem of a place that is just getting better with every visit. They have just added a trapline sports park and are always doing fun things for the customers. Great people! Thanks so much!
This course is special. It was hand built by the family who runs it, and they are very nice. It's a tough, mountain-goat course, well-maintained and very pretty. It's not Orlando/Scottsdale-type garden golf with fast carts on blacktop paths and yardage markers every 25 yards. You have to use your wits to score. There were only five or ten people on the entire course the day I played it. Family member will cook you a burger at the grill. I walked it, was exhausted, and loved the experience.
Unless you are a hacker, this course isnt worth playing. There are better alternatives within easy driving distance.
