American Falls Golf Course, American Falls, ID

I grew up playing this course and there is enough challenge to keep you coming back even four decades later. The course offers a little bit of everything from big open drives to thoughtful ball placement for successful follow up shots. I have seen #7 and #8 greens driven by strong players and I have seen life long slicers magically hit duck hooks on #9 that has a tight O.B. on the left. ( I have even seen a couple having sex on #1 during American Falls days back in 84' or 85') If you live within an hours drive then the course is worth the trip. Side note: the course fly over view has the 2nd and 8th hole tee boxes completely wrong changing the play. Reality is that both holes have to hit over the road. #2 is shorter and #8 is longer.
