The Ridge Golf Club, Sioux Center, IA

Amazing track!!! The clubhouse and pro shop are top notch. Opened in 2009 but you could never tell with how mature the course was. The staff was not as pleasant in my opinion. The carts could use GPS and the scorecards could use a map of the holes too.
The front 9 is totally separate from the back 9. Front is flat and plays straight, the back offers doglegs, undulation, etc. Tee to green it was incredibly maintained. There were a few greens that had some yellowing and the sand bunkers were hard. Favorite holes were 1,9,10,12,13,14, & 18.
No beverage cart service was a downer for July (day I played). The beauty of this course and the course itself made this course very affordable at $43 per round.

This course is absolutely amazing for such a small town. This course is one of the nicest courses I have seen at the stage the golf course is in (only open for 2 years). The layout of the course is great and really offers a challenging round. The length of the course is substantial and does not suit the amateur golfer well. The short hitters and innacurate strikers will not fare well on this course as the rough, bunkers, fescue, and water is unfriendly. I give this course 5 stars as the clubhouse, course, and value is very very good.
