IN RESPONSE TO REVIEW BY kaseymoe: As part of the new ownership who began managing the course in April, I'd like to address some of the issues from kaseymoe. Yes, we did have a crabgrass problem in late summer. We weren't around to treat for crabgrass last winter when you should prevent it, and spraying in late summer in a mild drought would have killed the crabgrass and the greens. Apologies for such a rough green experience, but we had to choose. They will be pre-treated in the future. We've recently (November) completed work on all sandtraps, the first time it had been done in years from what we've heard, and they look much better. I don't deny anything kaseymoe stated, but we have improved since, and will continue to do so in the future.

Played 8-5-2011. Course itself is interesting, with good elevation changes. Very playable. Few hazards. Most bunkers good, but a few need work. Scenery is not spectacular. Course feels like a very good municipal course. Some hardpan fairways. MAJOR PROBLEM currently is severe CRABGRASS infestation of the greens, making them generally displeasing for putting, especially as the day wears on and the crabgrass grows up making the greens like a pachinko machine. Also SLOW, probably around 5! on Stimp. By the 18th hole, I couldn't wait to get off these greens. Clubhouse nice. Bar/Restaurant very nice. Overall, I won't be back till the greenskeeper fixes the crabgrass problem and the temps cool down so they can run the greens faster.

Wife and I played last weekend and had a great time. Challenging course for me from the back tees; fun and playable course for her from the front tees. Very pretty and scenery - holes are well placed and seperated. Greens are great and have a great blend of traps and hazards to keep it from the normal boring public courses. Well done and we will be back again

The new oners have done a great job ith this course - greens and fairways were in great shape. Staff is very friendly. Best value in Atlanta for golf. Back nine are as pretty as golf gets - feel like you are playing by yourself - hat a layout.

WHat a great experience - the new owners have really turned this place around. Great course = well layed out and very spread out - most of the holes you cant see the other holes so its just you and nature and the golf course. Greens were in great shape and ell maintained. Course is difficult with out being ridiclous hard and with 5 sets of tees can be long too. Im a 6 handicap and loved playing the black tees while my brother really enjoyed the white tees and his 22 handicap he shot a 92. Staff is very friendly and for the money the best golf deal in Atlanta
Thank you - will be back soon.

Wouldn't play there again. PRO Shop has nothing in it, cart girl rarely seen, lots of beer cans besides the cart paths, groups of 6 or more playing off the tee.
