River Golf Course


The 18-hole "River" course at the The River Club facility in Suwanee, Georgia features 7,182 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Greg Norman, the River golf course opened in 2005. Escalante Golf, Inc. manages this facility, with John Gerdts as the General Manager.

I have had the great pleasure of playing the course a few times. The second hole is one of my favourite golf holes. I like the style where the first nine is in housing area and the back nine is isolated in the landscape. Tough finishing holes where everything can happen. The service level in the club is fantastic and you just feel extremely welcome. Mens lounge is placed with views over the 17th green over water and we had a lot of fun seeing the last guys playing the hole. We hope to be back again and special thanks to the staff and Pete Baker for helping out.
