Stone Mountain Golf Club, Stone Mountain, GA

This is a super course. I loved the scenery and the variety of holes. The course is very well maintained and the layout is good. There is lots of water so be careful. Service was very good, and I will definitely play again next time I visit Atlanta.

I play this course so much I play it in my head on the way to the course. Awesome course but, the greens get worn down very easily. I guess due to the high amount of traffic they get. Awesome layout and views. Hole one is one of the hardest around, over the water, then sharp dogleg right. You will love this course. BTW, get the parking pass if you plan on playing this course a few times, it will save you money..very friendly staff too.

This course is located in historic Stone Mountain Park. Many of the holes afford a very nice view of Stone Mountain. Only one of 18 greens was in poor condition. The fairways and rough are in great condition. Lots of water on this course and several blind shots. New cart paths provide a smooth ride. Great price of $29 at twilight rates (don't forget it costs $10 to get into the park...best to carpool)

Stone Mountain - Lakemont

I found this a beautiful course with outstanding shots/challenges. The front 9 is centered around long, flowing shots around the lake whereas the back 9 is a mountain goat's domain. I really enjoyed the complexity of the course and the beautiful views to greens. I'd go back in a second if it were nearby.
