if you like not being able to finish a round before being run off by the groundskeeper turning the sprinklers on at 7:30 a solid hour before dark while on the 7th green with only 2 holes to go, golf here. the rules on the card state to return carts 15 min before dark. there was plenty of time to finish 2 holes.

the fairways are full of weeds and crabgrass, the greens are fuzzy and look like they haven't been rolled in a year. the golf carts are old and need to be replaced. unless you have a safety strap for your clubs, they will fall off the cart since the bag strap clamps are shot.

the clubhouse leaks when it rains, cats have overrun the locker room and all in all, just don't visit.this is too bad since the course is of good design, it just needs some TLC.

Cows would not stay on these fairways to graze , much less you you be able to hit a ball off them. They are in need of a summer overseeding. The greens are horrible they have more sand on them than grass , they dont cut the short , they dont even blow the pine straw off them so take you a broom to clear you out a path to putt and just hope for the best you will see your ball jump left , right up and down as it makes its way to the general direction of the hole. They have raised the prices here as well , you are better off going somewhere else rather than waste your money. Its a shame it could be a nice little course.

This course is very tight and will force you to be a better ball striker. Leave your driver at home. Prices have been raised over the past year or so though. Although the conditions of the greens or fairways havent improved , fairways are pretty poor. Greens need a little more work.

"The Legion"

This is a popular course among my fraternity brothers and me. It provides a pretty good scene to get away from campus and to just play some golf and relieve stress. The greens could use some work and are extremely slow. I think the layout of the course is great and provides a decent challenge to golfers of all skill levels. And at around $25 to go around twice you have to agree it's a great deal.
