The 18-hole "River Forest" course at the River Forest Golf Club facility in Forsyth, Georgia features 6,775 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Designed by Rocky Roquemore, the River Forest golf course opened in 2004. ClubCorp USA, Inc. manages this facility, with Cliff Easum, PGA as the General Manager.

This is a fun course to play. A nice variety of holes, with a fair but challenging and well maintained layout. The stretch from 10-16 are perhaps the most beautiful and 17-18 are also excellent finishing holes. Staff hospitality was good and lots of water stations on the course. My only criticism is this is definitely not a walking course (a golf cart is needed) due to long distances between green and the next tee box on many (most) holes. Also the few houses along the course are totally unobtrusive. Play and enjoy!

I played this course Yesterday and I was in aw...The course is in awesome condition and the layout is wonderful. hats off to the developer. Bent greens were MINT!!! Just wish I lived closer and maybe it would be worth the $$$ for membership. This is Definitely a MUST play course if you live in GA!!!

This is a fantastic course for a low handicapper. However, it will make a high-handicapper want to throw their clubs in the lake. Beautifully maintained with flawless bentgrass greens, the course was in great shape when I played it. Some of the fairways are a little tight but the serious elevation changes and blind dog legs will punish you if don't manage this course properly. It also has a good collection of tough par 3's. If you can get on, definitely don't pass it up.

Great course

The course is kept in great condition. It is a great layout and will challenge golfers of any skill level. Several really fun holes - #6,#9,#10,#17 just to name a few - will keep you coming back for more.

Great Course

Very good layout that's all you can handle from the back tees. Gary Wilder keeps the course in top shape year round. If you get a chance, play it.

ALTHOUGH THIS COURSE IS ONE OF THE NEWEST IN GEORGIA IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT ONE OF THE FINEST LAYOUTS AVAILABLE. IT IS MOST CERTAINLY PICTURESQUE AND FAIR BUT VERY TOUGH! YOU MUST PLAY THIS COURSE! MANICURED TO FIT A KING!
