Played by myself and finished 18 in 3 hours. Staff was great. 5” of rain two days ago and while some areas wet, generally you wouldn’t know. Course is forgiving to right-handers who might push their drive. A few holes were blind shots from the tee box, although you should be able to spot the 150-yard post and aim for that. Long course, although It is no Oak Hill or Hazeltine. I plan to play it next time I am in the area.

UPDATE: NEW MANAGEMENT COMPANY FROM SOUTH FL HAS TAKEN OVER AND THE RATES ARE MUCH HIGHER 18 HOLES WALKING ON THE WEEKEND ARE $30 or a cart for $40 WEEKDAY CART RATE IS $35 FOR 18 HOLES, THEY WILL PRICE THEMSELVES OUT OF BUSINESS THEY HAVE TO REMEMBER THIS IS A FT. GAINES AND NOT DOTHAN, MONTGOMERY OR ATLANTA, FOR $20 MORE PLAY THE HIGHLANDS IN DOTHAN. THESE RATES WILL HIGHLY AFFECT THIS COURSE.
