Hampton Golf Course


The 18-hole "Hampton" course at the Hampton Golf Village facility in Cumming, Georgia features 6,905 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 72.9 and it has a slope rating of 140 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Clyde B. Johnston, ASGCA, the Hampton golf course opened in 2000. Shaun Kelly manages the course as the Director of Golf.

Normally a great course. Played there Labor Day and the greens were terrible. I hear they just punched them, so hopefully they will get them back soon. Also noticed that they have downgraded their carts from earlier in the year. I hope their issues are not signs of financial problems.

Very fun course but also pretty tough. Back nine plays easier than front. Must drive the ball well to score on this track. Greens have always been some of the best around, especialy for a public course. Hard to beat for the $$. Great value and great challange.
